Eugene, Oregon home for sale Eugene, Oregon home for sale!

Things are crazy around here, because we're sprucing up our house to get it ready to go on the market!  Note to clients:  don't worry, we're only moving across town!  We will still be New Morning Photography of EUGENE, and we will still be completely available to you!  We just need to move a few miles, because the school where our kiddo will start kindergarten in the fall is across town.

If you know anyone who doesn't yet own a home, please tell them about this one! With the $8,000 tax credit available to first time buyers, and with interest rates so low, it's a great time to buy!  And the price is right: we'll consider offers from $198,000 to $218,000!  This sweet vintage bungalow-- with its French doors, fir floors, stained glass light fixtures, garden, and more (it's gonna be hard to leave!)-- would be a dream come true for many first time home buyers.

For more information, please contact our fabulous real estate agent (who is also Aaron's mom) :) Sue Jakabosky at Remax, (541) 984-5420.  Thanks!

Mini Books!

These mini albums are so cute, I just had to share!  (Aaron makes a great "hand model," no?)  As you can see, these little books come in a variety of colors.  And at just $29 each-photos included- they're a great option for bridesmaids' gifts!  Each bridesmaid can pick her own album color, as well as the photos she'd like to have included.  Moms and grandmas love these too, and a lot of brides can't resist getting one for themselves-- it's fun to have a wedding album you can carry around in your purse!

Free Engagement Photos!

~and The Bridges of Lane County~

Jessie Rae and Braedon are one of several couples who've taken us up on our offer of a FREE ENGAGEMENT SESSION with the purchase of an all-day wedding photography package-- AN OFFER WE'RE EXTENDING until April 30th--and boy, are we glad they did! These two are one of the cutest, kissin'est, friendliest couples on the planet, and even though it was alternately raining, windy, and freezing (literally-- it started snowing right after we finished the session!) we had a great time searching down several of Lane County's covered bridges (Jessie's idea!) to use as backdrops for their fun portrait session!  We can hardly wait for their wedding at the Village Green Resort in May! Meanwhile, if you're getting married, we'd love to hear from you!  What are YOUR fun ideas for a unique and personalized engagement session?  :-)

Yellow Gold Farm

Albany, Oregon wedding venue

Heather, the very sweet proprietress of Yellow Gold Farm, recently contacted us to request samples of photos we've taken there.  As I got them ready for her, I realized that (because we didn't start our blog until well after our last wedding out there) I have never blogged about this fabulous location!  It is truly a wedding photographer's dream, with its huge variety of great spots for photos: the bridge, pond, swing, gazebo, and more.  Of course, our "subjects" for this wedding, Lindsey and Kyle, are so dang photogenic that they would have looked good no matter what... but we couldn't have asked for a better setting.  To learn more about our work at Yellow Gold Farm (or any of the many other fantastic Oregon wedding locations we recommend) please give us a call, (541) 342-4700 or toll-free, 1-877-PHOTO-77.  We don't charge travel fees for weddings anywhere in Oregon, and if you live within a couple hours of Eugene, we'll even come to you for a free consultation!  We're booking up fast... hope to hear from you soon!

Enjoy the little things...

...for one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things.
